The girl behind the Screen.
(And why she built this for you.)
I started Creative Coast in 2024 because I couldn't stop watching great businesses close. Not because the idea was bad. Not because the creator didn't work hard. But because they didn't have a roadmap. They didn't have support. They were doing it alone.
I know what that isolation feels like. So I built the thing I wish had existed.
Hi! I'm Abigail — most people call me Abby, and my friends call me Abbs.
I'm a Gen Z with a millennial soul and the mind of your new business bestie.
I started my first business straight out of high school in photography and design. I built it fast — through high school graduation, through college, through all of it. Then 2020 hit, and like a lot of creatives, I had to get creative in a different way.
When in-person photography wasn't really an option, I made a decision a lot of people were too scared to make: I started over. I launched a business I could run entirely from home, and over the next two years, I built it into something I was genuinely proud of - fast growth, and a community of people doing the same thing alongside me.
That's actually where this whole mission started.
During those two years, I watched so many people launch businesses. Some of them absolutely crushed it. A lot of them became some of my closest friends. But I also watched just as many people with brilliant ideas and real vision struggle to make it through their first year. Not because they weren't talented. Not because the idea wasn't good. But because they didn't have the right support around them when it counted.
That stayed with me.
In 2023, I sold my business and started asking myself what I actually wanted to build next. The answer was clear: something that exists to come alongside other businesses — at every stage — and help them grow.
In 2024, Creative Coast officially launched.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working with close to 50 businesses up and down the West Coast — from Washington all the way to San Diego. Every single one of them has reminded me exactly why I started this.
If you're building something, I'd love to be part of it.
