I’m sorry what? I do actually hear this more than you might think 🤔

I get it. Posting is hard and can feel super frustrating sometimes. But before we talk the algorithm, let’s first work on what you should post.

1️⃣ stop caring. I know that can be a tad controversial because “aesthetics”. Don’t get me wrong, still take that into account. But I want you to put more focus on this: are you just posting the same thing everyone else does?

2️⃣ why should someone new follow you and why should someone engage with your post? Is there a call to action? Are you showcasing a new service? Is said service shown in a way that is like, “that girl’s cool, I want to follow her and maybe work with her”?

3️⃣create promotional content that offers a genuine “ooooh” moment. Don’t be overly salsey. More like, “I’m just so proud of my clients who did X because we did X.”

4️⃣people are tired of the “perfect life.” Let’s show the honest side. The vulnerable side. The part that people resonate with.
When X kicks your butt and you end up doing X… because same.

February was a mix of showing up and letting go.

Scotland happened (still processing how good it felt to be somewhere completely new). A few favorite things made their way back into rotation. Work moved forward without me needing to force it.

I'm unlearning the idea that every month needs to be "productive" to count. Some months are just about being present while life unfolds.

Unlearning the idea that rest makes me lazy. That my calendar needs to be full to prove I'm valuable. That changing my mind means I failed.

I'm relearning what actually feels true: that boundaries protect my energy, that growth looks messy, that I don't need to have it all figured out to keep moving forward.

It's not about becoming a different person. It's about giving myself permission to evolve into who I actually am.

2025 taught me that growth isn’t always loud or easy.
It taught me how important boundaries really are — even when I think I have them, and how easy it is to bend them when I want to please everyone.

It taught me to ask for clarity, to communicate expectations, and to slow down when anxiety starts taking the wheel. That creativity doesn’t always show up on demand, and that feeling uninspired doesn’t mean I’ve lost my spark — sometimes it just means I’m tired.

This past year showed me both the highs and the hard parts. The pride, the exhaustion, the moments of doubt, and the moments where everything finally clicked — especially through building Hello Creative and seeing what community can really look like.

Most of all, 2025 taught me that even when I’m struggling, I’m still learning. Still growing. And that’s enough for now 🤍

This year reminded me why I started: to support small businesses in a way that’s sustainable, thoughtful, and human. every project was a reminder that slow, intentional growth really does matter. Thank you to everyone who trusted me, collaborated with me, showed up, asked questions, and took a chance.
P.s I’m still dead tired from closing the store this was the best I could do for a year recap 😂

Here’s what’s coming in 2026 🤍

I’m starting to gently shift my focus. Not a full pivot, not a hard stop, just more energy going toward the parts of life and business that feel deeply aligned with where I’m headed. Most things will stay the same, but I’ll be opening up more space for classes, workshops, and courses, and honestly… I’m really excited about it.

This next chapter feels slower in the best way. More intentional. More connected. More room to learn, share, and grow together.

I’m forever grateful for the incredible people I get to work with. Every opportunity, every project, it’s what makes special moments like this possible. And seeing how excited and happy my dad was? That was the best part 🥹

Now you might be wondering… why Cincinnati? 😂 Fair question! We’ve been checking off different MLB stadiums together. last year was Minnesota (in the winter), and this year, Ohio (in the summer).

Oh—and we also squeezed in a Titanic experience exhibit (mostly because we had a few hours to kill and all the museums I actually wanted to go to were closed 😅).

Sooo … true story… this was never the plan.

Obviously life never turns out the way you hope but truthfully I was dead set on being a teacher when I was younger 🫣and in many ways I am but not to a bunch of preteens like i had planned
